That is a nice 2017 writeup by Steve Lynch. Here is a current link to his book (I just spent big bucks to obtain a copy and might let you know what I think).
Tool: No family. 1 acre on a large lake in GA. If i need my speed fix - I go to a pro level race track with rental Karts ( no sense buying a Mustang GT that you really cant 'run' on the streets). I Do zero towing. CUV fits my life style and age. So, a smaller one. > Of the highest rated 3, the Forester still has real knobs for HVAC, radio and still has a CD player ! Add in crash ratings, resale, and tall windows - No brainer. PS- Was supplier to Subaru Lafayette Plant. They put a lot of $ in my pocket.
